After facing criticism over his alleged association with a social media group critical of the Congress, Sunil Sharma has been replaced as the party's candidate for the Jaipur Lok Sabha seat. The decision was made following objections from party leaders and the new candidate is former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas. In addition, Congress has also announced Murari Lal Meena as their candidate for the Dausa Lok Sabha constituency and Pratibha Suresh Dhanorkar for the Chandrapur Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra.
