At a joint meeting of the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray announced his support for any candidate nominated by the Congress and NCP (SP) as the Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. The meeting was attended by top leaders including Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule, and Thackeray emphasized the need for unity in fighting for the rights and pride of Maharashtra.
