The International Cricket Council has announced that the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates instead of Bangladesh. Due to ongoing protests and violence in the country, the ICC made the decision to shift the tournament location. South Africa, who were runners-up in last year's tournament, will be looking to go one step further and claim the title in UAE. They are slotted in Group B, alongside England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland. Their first match is against the West Indies on October 4 in Dubai.
