The daughter of late Indian agricultural scientist Dr M S Swaminathan, Dr Soumya Swaminathan, expressed her family's happiness and gratitude for her father's posthumous Bharat Ratna award, which he received along with former Prime Ministers P V Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh.
