Despite the batters piling on 254 runs collectively, the youngsters Rasikh Salam Dar, Khaleel Ahmed and Piyush Chawla shone with their excellent bowling performances to seal the victory for their team. Rasikh, 24, claimed a crucial wicket of MI's Hardik Pandya, while Khaleel dismissed the dangerous duo of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. Chawla, 34, also made an impact by taking two wickets and containing the MI batsmen with an economical spell.
In an action-packed IPL match, young Australian batsman Jake Fraser-McGurk smashed a blistering 84 off just 27 balls to help Delhi Capitals post their highest-ever IPL total of 257/4. Despite a valiant effort from Hardik Pandya's Mumbai Indians, they fell just 10 runs short, handing Delhi their sixth win of the season. Tim David and Tilak Varma also impressed with their quickfire knocks, but it wasn't enough to pull off a victory for the travelling side against the formidable Delhi team.
