Despite a valiant effort from rookie Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever fell to the Connecticut Sun in Game 2 of their opening-round playoff series. Clark finished with 25 points, nine assists, and six rebounds, joining Maya Moore as only the second rookie in WNBA history to drop 25 points, five assists, and five rebounds in a playoff game. Alyssa Thomas once again led the Sun with 19 points and 13 assists, securing their spot in the semifinals for the sixth straight season. While the Fever have a young and promising core in Clark and Aliyah Boston, they may look to add a vet with deep playoff experience in the offseason to compete for championships in the future.
