The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Indian government launched the Global Initiative on Digital Health (GIDH) during the G20 Health Ministerial Meeting in Gandhinagar, India. As a WHO Managed Network, GIDH aims to promote digital public infrastructure for healthcare and achieve sustainable digital health transformation. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya highlighted India's success in digital health through initiatives like Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and urged all member countries to join in strengthening the global digital health framework.
