Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari had earlier announced that he would never play for Andhra again due to grievances with the state association. However, he has now changed his decision after receiving assurance from the ruling party, Telugu Desam Party. Vihari held meetings with TDP officials and confirmed that he will continue to play for Andhra, stating that he has received full support and understands the party's aspirations for the Andhra Cricket Association. The 30-year-old had caused a stir earlier this year when he announced his intention to leave Andhra and was approached by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, but he has now chosen to stay with his home team.
