Since 2016, over 824,000 meals have been packed by volunteers at the OMMP, with 50,000 being packed in 2023. The organization is calling for volunteers to help them reach their goal on April 6, 2024.

The "No 6 Combo", consisting of a bowl of spicy soup and a flatbread, serves as a discreet code for customers in need to request a free meal. Xiong's initiative has been widely recognized and appreciated, with customers expressing gratitude for the care and respect conveyed by the restaurant. Additionally, the restaurant has been offering free breakfast to street sanitation workers since 2015, demonstrating a consistent commitment to community support.
A new program launched in Niagara Falls aims to redistribute leftover food from conventions to those in need, partnering with restaurants, hotels, and other establishments across the city. Steven deBoer of The Bridge presented the initiative to local politicians during a city council meeting, highlighting its potential to address food insecurity and reduce waste. The program will rely on the collaboration of businesses to donate surplus food, which will then be distributed to community members in need through The Bridge's network of support services.
