In an exciting match, Kerry Blow and Lyndy McLeod emerged as the winners of the Minor Pairs tournament, defeating their opponents Carmen McVicar and Judy Clarke. The Social Bowls event, held Wednesday March 13th, saw other victorious pairs including T Thorn and P Garner, C Domjahn and J Woodford, C Keogh and B Bodel, L Clancy and J Slater, V Maher and S Hancock, and Y Hinsley and H Hardwick. The tournament continued into Friday March 15th with the Mixed Pairs tournament and saw A Stone and J Phillips take home the win against their opponents R Coffey and C Cutt.
The University of Regina Men's Curling Team made history by winning the national title for the third time in the school's history. Skip Josh Bryden and his team proved to be a formidable opponent, defeating the Dalhousie Tigers in a close match. Coach Jamie Schneider noted the team's growth and improvement throughout the competition. Next, the team will represent Canada in the upcoming First World University Games in 2025.
