The CBSE has revealed the timetable for supplementary exams for students who were unable to clear certain subjects in the board exams. These exams have been renamed to "supplementary" from "compartment" in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 recommendations. Over 1,32,000 Class 10 students and more than 122,000 Class 12 students are eligible to appear for these exams to improve their performance in one or two subjects, respectively. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also provided words of encouragement for those who may be disappointed with their results.
