The process of framing charges in the coal smuggling case at a CBI court in West Bengal's Asansol area has been postponed until July 3 due to the absence of the three accused, including Binay Mishra who is currently settled in Vanuatu Island. The CBI has submitted two supplementary chargesheets and will file another one, including new names, by the next date of hearing. However, the judge has questioned the reason for filing a fresh chargesheet in the last stage of the investigation. So far, 43 individuals and corporate entities have been named in the case, with some already declared bankrupt.
