BJP Delhi chief Virendra Sachdeva has accused Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his party of lying and using corruption as their "hallmark," after CM Atishi's recent comments about the bungalow used by former CM Kejriwal. Sachdeva questioned the government's financial troubles and accused them of focusing on filling their pockets instead of addressing deficits. He also claimed that the revamping of the bungalow was a result of corruption and a "living, breathing monument" to their wrongdoing.
Atishi, the country's youngest chief minister, recently took charge in Delhi following Arvind Kejriwal's resignation. She made waves when she announced that she would not occupy the chief minister's chair and instead leave it empty for her mentor and predecessor. Her loyalty to Kejriwal was further emphasized by her reference to the Hindu epic, the Ramayan, where she compared her role to that of King Bharat ruling in the name of his brother Ram.
