Despite a strong start from South Africa's Aiden Markram and Tony de Zorzi, rain disrupted play in the first Test against the West Indies in Port of Spain. Only 15 overs were bowled before an early lunch was called, with the visitors at 45-1. Jason Holder claimed the only wicket so far, but play could not resume due to a wet outfield. The two-test series will be followed by three T20 games.
