The second in the Tillu Mania Universe (TMU), an apt name that could be given to this awesome franchise did work out well unlike many other sequels in Tollywood industry. DJ Tillu was kind of a fresh and charged up comedy flick that garnered too much reception and appreciation from all sectors of the audience. Delivering something on the same lines and yet making audience feel engaged didn't seem like an easy task but the team did pull it off much better than expected.
Direction : Change of Director from the first movie but nowhere you find any inconsistency; credits to the actors and their performance may be !
.
Music : BGM is all lively and entertaining. Songs, although only 3 in number but are so relevant and you start enjoying the lyrics of the songs so much as they are just same as the punch lines in the movie. Ram Miriyala's voice did double up the beauty of the songs. "Ticket eh konakunda" is definitely going to buzz in the marriage baraats and Ganesh Nimajjans this year.
.
Editing : Perfect and Perfect. Little to zero scenes where the passion and entertainment goes down. The runtime is low and an apt showdown of how crazy a 2 hour fun ride can be made.
.
Cast : Every character in the movie delivered the best making every scene worth a watch. Anupama as Lilly Joseph will catch your eye in every frame with ocassionally transitioning to a sizzling hot outlook. Praneeth Reddy as Marcus was also a show stealer in the few scenes where he entertained with his counters to Siddu. Muralidhar Goud as Tillu's father did nail his performance keeping up the tempo of the first movie.
.
Anchor ! : Siddhu & the dialogues are the true heroes of this movie. In the pre-release event, Siddhu stated that "There are no limits to Tillu's character and I think, this can be explored and stretched to any length" and Tillu Square is just an example of how that statement is so so true. The one liner punches and Siddhu's flair really made this flick a worthy entertainer of the year and also to Siddhu's career.
