In an incredible feat of endurance and artistry, musician Frank Turner has set a new world record by playing 15 gigs in 15 different towns in 24 hours. The challenge was undertaken in support of the Music Venue Trust (MVT), a charity dedicated to protecting and supporting independent music venues across the UK.

The Journey

Turner's grueling journey began in Liverpool at 7:15 AM on December 10, 2022. He then traveled to 14 other towns, including Manchester, Birmingham, and Southampton, playing a 30-minute set at each venue. The final show ended in Southampton at 6:15 AM the following morning.

To ensure the authenticity of the attempt, strict rules were set by the MVT. Each show had to be at an independent venue, the setlist had to be the same for all 15 gigs, and tickets had to be sold through independent record shops.
